Membership Fees cover the period from 1st March to the last day of February. Annual General Meetings are held in March.
The benefits of being a Member of the Group include:

- Use of the extensive lending library
- Research facilities with local, state and some international resources
- Access to Newsletter/Journal exchange with nearly 50 other Groups
- Regular Open Days, outings and activities
- Friendship and companionship of like- minded people who have many years of experience
General meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month (except December) at 1.30pm at the Community Hub with regular guest speakers talking on subjects allied to Genealogy, Family and Local History. Occasional excursions are undertaken.
Members get together each Wednesday afternoon at 1.30pm at the Hub. Some work, some do their own thing and others like the chats but all enjoy the company. Information sessions, workshops and Member outings are also held.
The facilities are open by arrangement. Postal Research is also available for anyone unable to undertake their own research and a non refundable deposit of $20.00 applies with final cost depending on time taken, information found and photocopies supplied.
Existing Members may pay their yearly membership by direct Deposit, with surname as reference.
