The Maryborough and District Genealogical Society, now the Maryborough Family History Group, was formed in 1993. We are an affiliated Group of the Genealogical Society of Victoria.

The Group is a not-for-profit incorporated organisation and we aim to promote and assist in Family History study and in the preservation and collection of related records of the Maryborough area.

We have seen many homes during this time, and in May 2012, we were able to move to our new accommodation at the Community Hub. The Group meets and houses their resources in Room L2, upstairs Level at the Community Hub. There is a lift available.

The Community Hub building is located in the Railway Station precinct.

 

Maryborough Family History Group acknowledges the ancestors and descendants of the Dja Dja Wurrung.

We acknowledge that their forebears are the Traditional Owners of the area that we are on, and have been for many thousands of years.
